5-days Tanzania safari Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The 5-day Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro itinerary is a comprehensive wildlife safari experience in Northern Tanzania. The itinerary covers some of the most famous national parks in Tanzania and provides opportunities to see a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and many species of birds.
Day 1 begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its high concentration of elephants and other large mammals. During an afternoon game drive, you will have the chance to see Tarangire’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
Day 2 takes you from Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its unique ecosystem and large flocks of flamingos and waterbirds. During an afternoon game drive, you will see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, baboons, buffalo, lions, and other predators.
Day 3 takes you from Lake Manyara to the Serengeti National Park, famous for its annual wildebeest migration and big cats. During an afternoon game drive, you will witness the migration of wildebeest and other herbivores and see lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as other wildlife.
Day 4 is spent in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Africa. During a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, you will see a wide variety of wildlife and admire the stunning landscapes and unique ecosystem of the crater.
On the final day, you will have a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater before driving back to Arusha, where the tour will end and you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your next destination.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- ·In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park.
- ·Upon arrival at the park, you will go on a game drive, which typically lasts for several hours. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and many species of birds.
- ·After a morning of game viewing, you will break for lunch at the park.
- ·In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive, exploring different parts of the park.
- ·At the end of the day, you will return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
- On the second day, you will start with a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park.
- ·After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is located nearby.
- ·Upon arrival at Lake Manyara, you will go on a game drive, which typically lasts for several hours. During the game drive, you will have

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- ·On the third day, you will start with a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.
- ·After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- ·Once you arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for
- a full day game drive. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a wide variety of
- wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and many species of birds.
- ·During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see the wildlife in their natural habitat and get
- up close with the animals.
- ·After a full day of game viewing, you will break for lunch in the crater.
- ·In the afternoon, you will continue your game drive, exploring different parts of the crater.
- ·At the end of the day, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
