Day 2: Stone Town – Beach
After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of stone town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Experience tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans in Zanzibar and ponder on the interesting
historical sites and labyrinths. See actual Zanzibar doors famous for their unique
architectural tradition.
After lunch, we will proceed on a tour of the countryside to the spice plantations. This place
has a rich history and you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as nutmeg and
cinnamon. In the evening, we will head north of Zanzibar, a top favourite for its white sand,
clear waters, and romantic sunsets.
Accommodation: Riu Palace hotel on All Inclusive
Day 3: Full day in Beach
The coastline that surrounds this region is absolutely breathtaking and is located right on the
island’s northernmost point. Visitors can expect to find beautiful sands and clear waters here.
The only significant negative is that several of the hotels are perched on coral cliffs that
extend north from the settlement, losing their beaches at high tide as a result. Usually
speaking, though, this is not a problem, and with the village’s small population of
backpackers, it’s a perfect location to go if you want to venture outside of the hotel for a
drink or two.
