Ngorongoro has long been home to a thriving population of big game species, including great-tusked elephants, healthy black rhinos, and the famous black-maned lions. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can see the Big 5 on a single game drive, and there’s plenty more to see. Gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra herds live here, as do smaller predators such as caracal and serval cats, as well as lions and their eternal adversaries, spotted hyenas. After the game drive ascends and drives to Kilimanjaro International Airport for drop-off.
