Overview
Your tour of the parks on the giant northern circuit, as well as the nights spent at each location, will undoubtedly leave you with unforgettable memories to take home and cherish for the rest of your life. The magnificent Lake Manyara, with its diverse landscapes and bird species, is our first stop after passing Arusha. The Serengeti National Park is the next stop, followed by the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its unique crater. Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and baobab trees, is our final stop. The tour includes airport transfers, and the accommodations are designed to be as comfortable as possible.

DAY 1: Kilimanjaro airport – Arusha city
Driving Distance: 55kms/1hr Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet with our smiling driver to pick you up and transfer you to your suggested accommodation in Arusha city. On the way, you will be introduced to our beautiful country and Arusha, also known as “R chuga” by the locals. Accommodation: Kibo Palace Hotel on Bed and Breakfast
DAY 2: Arusha city – Lake Manyara National Park
Distance:130km/2-hrs After a leisurely breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural experience, followed by a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Activity 1: Village walk in Mto wa Mbu: Mto wa Mbu is a well-known village in Africa’s Manyara region, home to over 120 ethnic groups. A local guide leads the tour, which includes a 1- hour 30-minute walk to various cultural sites in the village. Among the many things to observe and learn during the walk are local farms (banana, coffee, and rice farms), local houses, socio-cultural and economic practices of locals, local markets, local products, local schools, and daily movement of locals within the village. Following the tour, we will enjoy a traditional village lunch prepared by village mamas. After that, we’ll drive about 5 kilometres to Lake Manyara National Park. Activity 2: Game drive: Lake Manyara National Park is a stunning park located in the Great Rift Valley, with a wide variety of wildlife and landscapes to admire. name a few, there are many monkeys, Zebras, Wildebeests, Hippos, Giraffes, Waterbucks, Dik -diks, Impalas, and Tree climbing Lions. It is best known for its more than 5,000 recorded species of birds, including migrant flamingos and numerous water birds drawn to the park’s alkaline lake, which covers a large portion of its area. Flamingos typically feed along the lakeshore, though during the dry season, flamingos and other water birds can be found in small numbers. After the game drive, proceed to our reserved lodge for relaxation. Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge on Full Board Basis DAY 3: Karatu- Serengeti National Park Driving distance 170kms/ 4hrs After a delicious breakfast, we depart from our lodge with our packed lunch, passing through the vast Ngorongoro Conservation Area on our way to our main destination, the Serengeti. Our journey to Ngorongoro Crater may reveal us to beautiful highlands and valleys, Maasai tribe men directing their cattle for pasture, or spying on migrant wild animals living outside the crater such as Zebras, Giraffes, Buffalos, and many more. We arrive in the afternoon at the incredible Serengeti for an afternoon game viewing. The game viewing here combines the known with the unknown. There is a new experience around every corner. DAY 4: Full day at Serengeti National Park
Today is a full day of intensive game drives at this highly-rated park. We have a good chance of seeing many animals, including preferred big cats in their pride, bird species, and numerous grazer animals. Several game drives can be taken here, which may reveal animal behaviours such as killing, mating, and so on. Sunrise and sunset viewings are also excellent ways to spend your time in Serengeti. Balloon rides are now available as an “extra cost” excursion. Please let us know if you are interested so that we can make arrangements and pass the cost to you. DAY 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation
Driving distance: 145kms/3hrs 30minutes Breakfast is followed by a final morning game viewing to take in Serengeti’s natural beauty. Central Serengeti is also known as Seronera because of the Seronera River, which flows all year and provides a permanent water source for many resident animals that roam the region. As a top-ranked park in Africa, the Serengeti has a diverse range of wild animals to see, including Big CATS and numerous bird species. Wildebeest migration can be seen in the area depending on the month of travel of April-May and December-January. In the afternoon, we have our picnic lunch at the picnic site and then continue with our game on our way to our chosen accommodation for leisure and overnight. DAY 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire
Driving distance: 200km/2hrs – 30 minutes Breakfast at the lodge then drive to the crater floor for a game drive Under the auspices of UNESCO, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s eighth wonder. The Ngorongoro Crater is technically a Caldera, the world’s largest unflooded one at more than 1600 feet deep and 102 square miles in size. Because most of the animals stay in this area all year, game viewing is excellent. Along the lakeshore of Lake Magadi, you can see lions, Cape buffalo, hippos, elephants, zebras, and antelopes, as well as many bird species, including flamingos. If itching, this is also the chance to see the rare Black rhinoceros. In a single game, the big five animals can be seen in the crater. Ascend and drive after the game drive then drive to the Tarangire region.
DAY 7: Tarangire National Park – Kilimanjaro airport
Driving distance: 175kms/ 3hrs After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park well known as the “Elephant playground”. Tarangire has a beautiful ecology with many baobab trees and seasonal changes that attract many birds, with over 4000 recorded bird species. Apart from Elephants other common animals include Dik-diks, Impalas, Eland, Grant’s gazelles, Vervet monkeys, Zebras, Waterbucks, Giraffes, and predators in Tarangire includes, lions, leopards, cheetah and Caracal can be spotted. Following our game, we will drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport to check in to your departure flight. End of our services
